Beside better readability, the full > version is better for people who are not familiar with the codenames. I completely agree to specify the full version. I also agree to hide those codenames because I don't like the OXYMORON series personally. However, if they are cute, graceful, impartial, loving and peaceful, it is too good to be thrown away. There might not be such ones, though. Anyway, no one will oppose it if it can be customized, I think.
