I understand how the nntp marks feature is useful and why it is activated for all users by default. However, in fact, it obviously slows down Gnus. It is not useful for _all_ users and it will let those who don't know it simply say "No Gnus is slow". Isn't it necessary to write clearly the case where it is useful and the way to deactivate it? For instance, in the ``Finding the News'' section. In addition, I don't think the nntp marks feature is _evil_ even though I set `nntp-marks-is-evil' as t. How about the following?
