For the last 2wks (approximate) I have been having trouble getting
connected to sunsite.auc.dk. Are their problems on that server or is it
something on my end or inbetween?

There have been some problems with the connections from the outside to
scandinavia a couple of times recently.
However the machine was rebooted yesterday to install a write-cache in
the RAID controller.
