I believe Scott Byer did some/all of the work on nnfolder?
I don't speak for Scott but I think he was using NSEmacs 4.1 an 19.28
derivative. What's sad about the move to only support >=.29 is that a
lot of people are now in no position to contribute to gnus's
development.
