Hi!

[using GNU Emacs 21.1 on solaris 8 sparc, and today's CVS gnus]

i received a SPAM message, and when i view it in Gnus, Emacs makes my
system DoS'ed: Emacs begins beeping infinitely, and the system almost
freezes. i'm able to switch to terminal (which takes more than 1
minute) and kill emacs.

No matter how i preview it: "g" or "C-u g", or even try to
resend. Each time i get the same effect, -- i have to kill Emacs.

Be carful when opening a message from "Onsexy" with a korean subject,
or your Emacs may freeze! prepare a terminal with a ready kill command
first! :-)

Using gnuclient you'll be able to talk to Emacs, too (as long as gnuserv
is running).

was your system responsive enough? my system almost freezes: switching
to another window takes ages (minutes)... typing charecters in other
windows takes dozens of seconds too.

i wonder why does this happen???

Yes, no problem at all (besides the beeping); but it took me wonders.
