Subject: washing qp works!
Date: 05 May 2000 13:16:13 +0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <eyg0rxl5lu.fsf@video.uic.vsu.ru> (raw)

Hi!

good news: previously, washing broken qp (W q) did not work in
messages with Cyrillic text (causing repaired characters become
Cyrillic chars, and previously-correct cyrillic chars to become doubly
encoded, and thus making the message unreadable). I was told by Lars
and Shenghuo that it is not that easy to fix this in the near future.

Now, with current cvs version, it seems that washing qp works out of
the box. I wonder, why that happened? (it's even more interesting to
know the answer to this question than to get washing qp working :)

Best,
v.
