        Some of my folders are begining to have non sensible information,
notable the estimated number of articles and stuff like that. Is it possible
to regenerate this kind of information ?

Try to mark all articles and {move,respool} them into the same folder.
Try `M-x nnml-generate-nov-databases RET' if you are using nnml.
