Hello!

Is there any way to force Gnus to show colors in console? XEmacs 20.4 and 
Gnus 5.6.43 use  my face- settings only in X.

This has been asked a couple of times before, but I don't recall the
answer.  Anyone?

Here's what I use.  The trick is to put tty-compatible color names in
the color lists.  I also manually force TTYs to be color since not all
of my termcap entries claim color support.

i'd like to set my email address on a per-folder basis. i realize
i can use a summary mode hook in .gnus.el, but is there a more
elegant (group properties - G p) method?

You could do this in group parameters, but also check out the
variable `gnus-posting-styles'.
