Argh, I've never read the info page for `article caching', the one
that explains `gnus-use-cache'.  I read the first sentence, and since
I don't have a slow NNTP connection, I skipped the rest of the page.

I'll modify my usage habits to use `?' for archiving, and caching only
for NNTP, since `?' won't expire with `gnus-use-cache'.
