Used to be that I could select articles with # and then do
gnus-uu-digest-mail-forward to forward these as one message with
MIME attachments. However, now when I try it I get the error
Buffer is read-only: #<buffer "*...*">
Anybody else seeing this?

Nope. M-x toggle-debug-on-error RET and send the complete backtrace?

Okay, looks like it was because the directory gnus-uu-tmp-dir did
not exist:

Once I created this directory, all was fine.
Weird that the error message I saw was totally unrelated to this
directory problem....
