Every once in a while i end up with an unreadable (to gnus) .marks
file with "..." in it:

((read (1 . 2247)) (expire 2121 2170 2173 (2175 . 2180) (2183 . 2184) 2190 (2193 . 2196) (2200 . 2201) (2204 . 2208) ...) (reply 2239) (dormant 2118 2137))

My first thought was that one of the packages I am using must be
leaking a print-level or print-length setting which affects the princ
in nnml-save-marks but i can't see any other evidence of this.

I am wondering if anyone else has seen this problem?

Shouldn't gnus-prin1 be used at places like this?
