I think it's very neat. Even neater would be to interface it somehow with Gnus. A new virtual group like nnweb, only it searches through my local mail-folders? Even if one doesn't use Glimpse (I don't know if, some search-utility (group-summary-search-* isn't enough) in Gnus feels essential in a news/mail-reader -- at least to me, but I may be brain-washed by fidonet technology... Good? Bad? Ugly?
