Install directory change for Gnus 5.6.3

Hi,

Is it possible to change the Makefiles for Gnus so that the install
directory is chosen depending on the Emacs variable.

e.g. if I use "make EMACS=xemacs install" then I would like Gnus to
use

lispdir = $(datadir)/xemacs/site-lisp
                     ^^^^^^
rather than

lispdir = $(datadir)/emacs/site-lisp

AFAIK this switch doesn't let you change the value of lispdir,
though.  To be precise: that part of lispdir that comes after prefix.

One can use `make lispdir=XXX', and `lispdir=XXX ./configure' might
work as well (I'm not sure about the latter).
