Right, I would guess the syntax description of LISP is very elegant indeed. Which makes LISP programs probably very easy to parse for a _computer_. However, a LISP program is very hard to read for a _human_. Which is what I meant when I said I find LISP's syntax horrible. PASCAL has (had? anybody still using this) a good syntax.... Java is reasonable, but it really borrowed too much from C.
