[Well if it is any consolation, when I was hit by the problem, last
November, the warning at that time was even more cryptic
(warning/warning) Redefine bbdb/gnus-summary-user-format-letter, %uB
in Gnus, or set bbdb/gnus-define-format-functions to nil.]
Unfortunately I can't remember what the right solution, though it was
pretty simple and didn't involve setting any variables, I think! Try
doing as the warning says and check the values of the above variables.
