I sort of would like to have this:
on my home PC, I run gnus-agent, using the startup files from my UNIX
shell account, so I can run Gnus under emacs at work.
there's just one problem, which I sort of can't figure out.
fetching headers under, say, Forte Agent is quite fast, and Newswatcher
for the Mac can read a UNIX .newsrc-file quite fast.
so why does this take an eternity with GNUS?

I haven't noticed anything particularly slow with regards to Gnus'
fetching of headers. Anybody?

If you use the default predicate of true, and think you are only
fetching headers, you might think Gnus agent is a dog.

so which predicate should I not set to the default of true?

Are you sure you're a stock-broker & not a lawyer?

I'm not not not sure, but I'm not unsure that I'm not a student.

I'm glad you've cleared that up for us all. Not.
