Is there anybody anywhere working on making pgnus able to produce
signed/encrypted messages a la RFCs 2015 and 1847 (multipart/signed,
multipart/encrypted)?

It's the only thing pgnus doesn't do that I want (at the moment).

A few months ago, I started to write some code, but I discovered soon
that some of the Gnus MIME processing code has to be extended. Some
minor changes were already made, but the remaining ones are rather
obscure and I don't know yet whether Lars will appreciate them, but
I'll send him a patch anyway if he's got the time again to work on Gnus.

I would very much like this getting finished. But for the time being,
I'm using a mailer-independent solution to produce rfc2015
signed/encrypted stuff:
<URL:http://www.snafu.priv.at/download/guard-1.5.tgz> It still has a
couple of rough edges, but it is a workable solution.
