Found something odd recently. A friend sent mail, I replied from one account and had another CC'd, then Followuped (f) to this from my other account and saw his address disappeared from the To and CC list. I've been able to replicate it. Here's the message, sent by cshenton@uucom.com and I'm reading it as chris@shenton.org: X-From-Line: cshenton@uucom.com Tue Jul 11 23:14:24 2000 Return-Path: Delivered-To: chris@shenton.org Received: (qmail 16256 invoked from network); 11 Jul 2000 23:14:24 -0000 Received: from samizdat.uucom.com (198.202.217.54) by thanatos.shenton.org with SMTP; 11 Jul 2000 23:14:24 -0000 Received: (from cshenton@localhost) by Samizdat.uucom.com (8.9.3/8.9.3) id TAA04372; Tue, 11 Jul 2000 19:06:24 -0400 (EDT) To: Chris Hill Cc: Chris Shenton Subject: Re: Send me a message, home and work References: From: Chris Shenton Date: 11 Jul 2000 19:06:24 -0400 In-Reply-To: Chris Hill's message of "Tue, 11 Jul 2000 18:57:52 -0400" X-Gnus-Mail-Source: file:/home/chris/Mailbox Message-ID: User-Agent: Gnus/5.0807 (Gnus v5.8.7) Emacs/20.4 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Lines: 2 Xref: thanatos.shenton.org in.chris:8298 Could you try that again and send a CC to your own addr? Here are the headers gnus provides when I hit 'f' (followup/replyall): To: Chris Shenton Subject: Re: Send me a message, home and work References: Gcc: nnml+archive:mail.2000-07 --text follows this line-- Notice it's remove the To: address I was trying to reply to. At both locations I'm using gnus-5.8.7. Too many people named 'chris' causing problems? :-(
