First, I tried to `B m' again, which fails, for a new reason:
Signaling: (void-variable enable-multibyte-characters)
mm-find-charset-region(1 4813)
mm-encode-body()
mml-generate-mime-1((part (type . "text/plain") (contents . "[entire content deleted]")))
mml-generate-mime()
message-encode-message-body()
gnus-request-accept-article("nnml:personal.general" nil t)
eval((gnus-request-accept-article "nnml:personal.general" (quote nil) t))
nnml-request-move-article(3307 "tomb" "" (gnus-request-accept-article "nnml:personal.general" (quote nil) t) t)
gnus-request-move-article(3307 "nnml:tomb" "" (gnus-request-accept-article "nnml:personal.general" (quote nil) t) t)
gnus-summary-move-article(nil)
call-interactively(gnus-summary-move-article)
Second, I need to note that the "[entire content deleted]" which I
mention above (to reduce the size of this report) contains the entire
string content of the message not once, but 3 complete times, which
rather makes one wonder.
Third, I had to revert to p0.44 because I can't send mail with p0.46
at all due to getting a similar error as above after `C-c C-c', which
leaves me with a *mail* buffer in a narrowed mode, apparently.

That's interesting. I'm using here pgnus 0.46 and Xemacs 21.0 (pre 6)
and I have no Problem with 'B m'.

I don't have such a problem here. I tried to sent a mail to me and it
was correctly send and delivered to me. I also tried to send mail to an
other person in the world and I would have been delivered, if I hadn't
killed it on the outgoing list. Maybe XEmacs 20.4 is a little big buggy
or your configuration might have a failure. Because here XEmacs 21.0
(pre 6) and pgnus 0.46 work without any error (Maybe I'll find a bug
later).

Nah -- it was a problem with Gnus relying on Muletilations. This
should be fixed in 0.47.
