All right, but why does gnus try to change the permissions?
The command 'ls -l /mnt' shows clearly that everybody can read and write
onto the /mnt/windows directory:
drwxrwxrwx 30 root root 16384 gen 1 1970 windows/
. Do you have any suggestion of how to work the problem out?
