Subject: nnkiboze, what why and how?
Date: 24 Jun 1996 08:04:12 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <lvenn520wz.fsf@claymore.fukt.hk-r.se> (raw)
The docs is a little poor regarding nnkiboze, they tell you how to get
started, but some question still exists:
* What will the buffer look like when nnkiboze have been run?
(Will all the 'cached' articles be put under each group, or
will nnkibize act as a invisible layer between the group and
the newsserver?)
* The score-file, well I need a score-file, but what should be in
it? What should the name of the score-file be? nnkiboze:group-name
nnkiboze:regexp+groupname (as suggested by kill-file)
* And finally, why not run nnkiboze, isn't it better if I get all
article headers in one sweep, instead of getting them goup by group
later on? Or I generate much load on the server if I try to grab
them all like this?
