Now quit gnus (0.48) will have the '*Mail Gnus*' buffer, and what happens when you press C-c C-c there? Error. If you restart gnus it works. I find this *very* irritating, and would like some smoother solution for this, either gnus notifies that a mail is under editing (givimg chance for editing, saving or cancellin), or gnus silently saves the mail in the draft group and kills the buffer..
