Well OK, I got it from the patches mailing list but I presume it's the
same file ...
I've had problems a couple of times applying the pgnus patches (The
patches containing the MIME delimiters in particular) I get something
like this
lee @ 09:56:59 : patch -p2 --verbose < ../patches/0.58-0.59
.
.
.
Hmm... The next patch looks like a new-style context diff to me...
The text leading up to this was:

|*** pub/pgnus/lisp/mml.el Tue Dec 1 01:24:13 1998
|--- pgnus/lisp/mml.el Wed Dec 2 01:56:41 1998
--------------------------
Patching file `lisp/mml.el' using Plan A...
Hunk #1 succeeded at 129.
Hunk #2 succeeded at 141.
patch: **** duplicate `---' at line 610; check line numbers at line 609
I'm presuming that my patch is getting confused about the fact that line
609 starts with --= My question is, do I need to do something special
or am I being stupid ?
Lee.
PS.patch --version => 2.5
