Suppose I have two imap account on different machines, I do not want
to redirect one on the other. Is it possible to have nnimap merge the
mailboxes ? It looks like if I have an INBOX.humor on each server, I
have two groups with the same name. I'd like to have only one which
would be the union of the two.

You can use nnvirtual to do this. But then you have three groups:
nnimap+a:INBOX.foo, nnimap+b:INBOX.foo, and the new nnvirtual:foo.
But you can hide the unwanted groups in some topic.

Sounds like a job for nnvirtual.

I thought you could just unsubscribe to the unwanted groups
and never care about them again?

Silly me. Probably, yes. (Maybe nnvirtual wants the component
groups to be subscribed, but I don't think so.)

Unsubscribed is fine. Just don't kill them :-)
