As far as I understand the auth-source module, yes, this should be
possible. You can configure/customize the variable auth-sources, e.g.

(setq auth-sources '((:source "~/.other-autinfo.gpg" :host "myserver" :user "joe")
                     "~/.authinfo.gpg"))
