Hi,

Are the gnus-buildbot mail sent to also the author, not only the
committer? If not, I hope those are done so. I'm synchronizing
Emacs trunk and Gnus trunk as a daily routine, so I sometimes get
such mails that blame me. I can fix some by myself, but cannot
others. The following is a typical case for the later:

This focuses on my commit:
commit 13daeed163c8dc023bb736238f14c26ca0691ad0
Author: Daiki Ueno <ueno@unixuser.org>
Date: Thu Jul 7 14:27:41 2011 +0000

Says:
While compiling the end of the data in file /var/lib/buildbot/slaves/debian/build-xemacs21.4/build/lisp/plstore.el:
!! error (("the function called-interactively-p is not known to be defined."))

Ueno-san, is it possible to be replaced with the one like
`message-called-interactively-p' ?

Oops, sorry. I just subscribed gmane.emacs.gnus.buildbot.

Yeah, I'll copy the macro and make plstore.el use it.

Only the committer gets the mails; it used to be the author, but I
changed it because when authors commit to the Emacs trunk, they're
usually not terribly interested in stuff like XEmacs compatibility, so I
think that work is primarily on us. Also, most of the compiler warnings
so far were spurious and had to be dealt with in the Gnus trunk
(dgnushack.el or lpath.el), and the author might not have access to it
or isn't familiar with the process.

So far I've been unsuccessful to add author and committer to the
blamelist, since in Buildbot it seems there's always exactly *one*
person responsible for a change. But I will ask on the Buildbot
mailinglist.

-David
