Gnus won't read mail

Gnus won't read mail

Hi,

I'm trying to use Gnus 5.3 to read my mail but no matter what I do I
can't get it to do anything. I have added

(setq gnus-secondary-select-methods 
      '((nnmbox "")))

to my .gnus file and tested it with various options ranging from none
others to:

(setq nnmbox-get-new-mail t)
(setq nnmbox-mbox-file "~/Mail/nnmbox")
(setq nnmbox-active-file "~/Mail/nnmbox-active")

I have also tried setting the nnmail-spool-file. Nothing I do
works. My mail stays on the spool and Gnus appears to ignore the
secondary-select-method but it reads News just fine.

Can anyone help me please.

Well, what is `nnmail-spool-file' and what is your spool file called?
