Subject: Possible bug server buffer
Date: Mon, 28 Apr 2003 00:09:22 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <m28ytvxfml.fsf@sbcglobal.net> (raw)

Running yesterdays cvs, I notice something amiss in the server buffer.
One of my servers is gmane. Pressing <RET> on it gets the expected
active list, but if I try to enter any of the groups on that list I'm
told the server cannot be accessed.

Never noticed this before. In the past I've been able to access
groups on the active list, subscribe etc.

Still able to subscribe but cannot access.

Here is a backtrace:

Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "Unable to contact server: ")
  signal(error ("Unable to contact server: "))
  error("Unable to contact server: %s" "")
  gnus-group-read-ephemeral-group("nntp+news.gmane.org:gmane.comp.gnome.darwin" (nntp "news.gmane.org") nil (#<buffer *Gnus Browse Server*> . browse))
  gnus-browse-read-group(no)
  gnus-browse-select-group()
  call-interactively(gnus-browse-select-group)
