Hi
Recently I receive message that contains around 7 attachments (all text
files)
How can I save them in one go and not select them individually?
Regards
Uwe Brauer

I tried out gnus-summary-save-parts
for a couple of text files that were sent as attachments. They were
saved as
nnimap+UCMgmail:INBOX.92889.1
nnimap+UCMgmail:INBOX.92889.2
nnimap+UCMgmail:INBOX.92889.3
nnimap+UCMgmail:INBOX.92889.4
Which make them useless. How can I configure that command to conserve
its original file name or is this a BUG?
Regards

I just tried it using the ‘X m’ shortcut. It saved all attachments with
the original names. I am using Emacs-28 from the ‘master’ branch.

So do I! Emacs28 master. Where do you use this function in the message
or in the summary buffer?
Do you use the imap backend?

I used it from summary buffer and I am using IMAP backend.

Sorry for my ignorance. I have just now tried ‘X m’ on a newly received
email with some invoices. I got following output:
AIN2122000504948.pdf
AIN2122000504950.pdf
AIN2122000504953.pdf
nnimap+gml:INBOX.153434.1
nnimap+gml:INBOX.153434.2
Last two files are actually the text and HTML parts from the
email. First three are the attachments.
