In my company I have to justify why I need a unix mail spool
(there is a Exchange server already).
Is there any compelling reason other than procmail to use
unix mail spool

Beats me. What are you wanting to do with it?

Tell them: how do they expect prospective UNIX customers to take
them seriously if they don't even use UNIX themselves....
