Sure, but now you (the receiver of spam) are sure that the email came from hotmail.com and you have (a list of) email addresses that were used to do the spamming. Thru some of the recent legislation (like, IIRC, the anti-spamming law in California), I think you (or a class action group) have reasonable cause to sue Hotmail to either: * find out who the spammer is and sue them -and/or- * force Hotmail to prevent anonymous account generation -- David Masterson dsm@rawbw.com
