Any > reasonable mail agent ought to produce only "\nFrom ", but should > accept any line beginning with "From " as beginning a new message, > regardless of whether or not it was preceeded by a blank. No; the mail delivery agent should always put a blank line before the "From " line. That's the de facto standard in this area.
