The new message face thingies seem to work with font-lock under Emacs,
but under XEmacs I get som "message-header-to-face not defined"
errors, for some reason or other. Are there differences between the
font-lock under XEmacs 19.14 and Emacs 19.34 in this area?

There shouldn't be. `message-font-lock-keywords' is a fairly simple
variable, and provided that `message-header-to-face' is defined, there
shouldn't be any problems. A look at lisp/packages/font-lock.el can
show that XEmacs 19.14 should accept more-or-less anything that Emacs
19.34 does.

I must have been on acid or something. When I tried to reproduce it,
I was unable to. So now everything is hunky-dory.
