Hello,

  my main nnml: group is getting big.  I mean, _really_ big.  In fact,
  I think I currently have 4000 emails in that group.  Needless to
  say, it takes a _long_ time to enter the group when there is no
  ticked mail in the group and Gnus fetchs the info of everything and
  then score everything and then generate the summary.

  Now, the best thing would be if Gnus would automatically move mails
  from my inbox groups to "archive" groups, where the archive groups
  would be named using months and year into them.  I don't know if I'm
  clear enough; let say, after 7 days, read mail (but not the ones
  that are ticked) can automatically move from my main nnml group
  (nnml:mail.lebel.misc) to the archiving group (let say,
  nnml+archive:archive.lebel.misc.march-1997).  This archiving step
  could occur when I leave a newsgroup, or once a day.

  Is this all possible?  I'm using Gnus 5.4.19.

  As an added bonus, how could I build a function that would archive
  every mail inside a group in the correct "archive" directory?  Mail
  dated between 1-mar-96 and 31-mar-96 would go into the march-1996
  nnml group.  This would be handy to process all the mails in my
  current inbox nnml group into the appropriate archive groups.
