Diddle with the value of message-syntax-check. You will want to
remove the empty-headers check, probably in mc-remailer-encrypt-for-chain.

message-syntax-checks's value is nil
-- a variable declared in Lisp.

Documentation:
Controls what syntax checks should not be performed on outgoing posts.
To disable checking of long signatures, for instance, add
`(signature . disabled)' to this list.

Don't touch this variable unless you really know what you're doing.

Checks include subject-cmsg multiple-headers sendsys message-id from
long-lines control-chars size new-text redirected-followup signature
approved sender empty empty-headers message-id from subject.

P.S.
Considering that September Gnus will be out the door soon, now would
be an excellent time to make up your wish list for the next release.
Who needs PGP 3.0 when you have Gnus and Mailcrypt?
