In v0.95 The modeline for the Article buffer would read something like
--:--  Gnus: mail:ding  Pterodactyl Gnus v0.97 is released    (Article)--

but now (0.97) an extra empty thing appears thusly:
--:--  Gnus: mail:ding  [       ] Pterodactyl Gnus v0.97 is released   (A

Which appears like a wast of space. What is supposed to be there?
