Subject: Duplicate server names in server buffer
Date: Mon, 15 Oct 2007 23:31:33 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <m2zlyk9yy2.fsf@news.cyberhut.org> (raw)
I use nnmaildir for email and also for archiving. So in
gnus-secondary-select-methods I have (nnmaildir ""), and
gnus-message-archive-method is set to (nnmaildir "") also.
Press ^ and go to server buffer, I found "nnmaildir:" is shown twice.
Studing gnus-srvr.el I found in gnus-server-alist is generated through
method, so
(nnmaildir "") as secondary method -> nnmaildir
(nnmaildir "") as archive -> archive
It's naturally shown twice.
Since it's highly possible nnml/nnmaildir etc be used as archive method,
I trust many will find this duplication in server buffer annoying. My
ELISP skill is too limited.
Could anyone make a fix to generate gnus-server-alist right?
TIA
