Hi,
I just installed the current No Gnus CVS version.

I can't mark the articles in the summary buffer. For example, I
pressed 'E' to expire the artile, but the article still be
regarded as not expired. There is no mark symbol appeared and no
   highlight on the current line.

   What should I do?

Cheers!
Tang

Here it works perfectly. Can you show us details on what does your
configuration look like ?

main(){printf(&unix["\021%six\012\0"],(unix)["have"]+"fun"-0x60);}

It is hard to explain clearly, so I made two screenshots.

This is No Gnus v0.3, The articles which have been read is not
  marked and is not highlighted.

This is Gnus 5.11, It works perfectly.

I removed all of the redundant settings in my .gnus.el except
  following most basic settings:

  (setq mail-sources
      '((pop :server "XXXXXX"
	     :port 110
  	     :user "XXXXX"
 	     :password "XXXXX")
	(pop :server "XXXXX"
	     :port 110
	     :user "XXXXXXXXX"
	     :password "XXXXXX")))

  (setq gnus-select-method '(nnml ""))
  (setq gnus-fetch-old-headers 500)
