I was idly wondering how much activity there was on the ding mailing
list historically. In my mind, there used to be a lot of chatter going
on here.
But looking in the margins here

it turns out that the busiest month on record is... September 2010.
Geez!
The previous record was January 2002. But the busiest year was
apparently 1999.
