in which file do I find the current changes of CVS-Gnus? I've
looked in GNUS-NEWS and ChangeLog...
Any hints?

lisp/ChangeLog might be what you're looking for.

contrib/ChangeLog).
If you are interested only in new features and user-visible changes
look at (info "(gnus)No Gnus").
This node (generated from texi/gnus-news.texi) should have the same as
GNUS-NEWS, but the syncing isn't automated yet (see [1]).
