If I `a'dd a message to a group, either in the group or summary buffer,
message-setup-hook appears to run normally.  mail-signature bound to a
function works.

If I `f'ollowup to a message or `C-x m' (message-mail), they work.

But if I `F'ollowup to a message, message-setup-hook does not appear to
run, nor does mail-signature bound to a function seem to work.

That hook is run from `message-setup', which should be run no matter
what command you execute to enter the message buffer.  However, the
posting styles mess with that hook, and perhaps they mess in a way
that's not good?
