Running 5.6.27 on Redhat linux 5.0 I rarely use the drafts group, but now it doesn't work as expected. Saving a partial or complete message with 'C-x C-s' sends it to 'drafts all right, but when I go there later to finish or mail it I have no 'drafts' item on the menu bar and the drafts commands don't work ('D e' 'J S' etc). Checking the recent (26,27) change logs I see no mention of changes in that area, on the mailing list, no mention of drafts problems. Checking the gnus lisp files I see gnus-draft.el and nndraft.el have been compiled into *.elc files, but gnus-draft.elc must not be loading. How can I check this out? What might cause this behavior? -- Harry Putnam reader@newsguy.com
