Schwartz) on Wed, 05 Feb 2003 | I can't be the only one who wants to read and answer email both while | online and offline. I cheat: I have no inbound MTA on my notebook. I use fetchmail to download my mail spools over an SSH tunnel and dump them into my spool on my notebook. If you have a mechanism that works better for you then by all means use it. I use Postfix for my outbound MTA. When I am connected to a network, everything just works. When I am not connected to a network, Postfix queues up my outgoing mail and waits patiently (more or less :) for a network connection, and then everything just works. -- Rat \ Warning: pregnant women, the elderly, and Minion of Nathan - Nathan says Hi! \ children under 10 should avoid prolonged PGP Key: at a key server near you! \ exposure to Happy Fun Ball.
