Hi,

i have a strange problem. :) i'm using fsf emacs 20.3 and semi-gnus
which is based on gnus 5.6.42. i'm able to read mail in nnmbox backend
fine without problems, but in any other `newsgroups' (like
nnml:archive and plain nntp newsgroups) i'm seeing sequences like
\301\302 etc instead of 8-bit cyrillic letters. The mail contains
correct content-type charset and content-transfer-encoding=8bit
headers. The strange thing is that the *same* mail which i e.g. post
to some nntp newsgroup and Cc: to myself is looking differently: in my
nnmbox i see it Ok, but in the newsgroup it contains the above
mentioned sequences instead of russian letters.

i would be grateful if someone could explain what happens [maybe in
nnmbox some extra hook is executed which sets up the correct coding
system/etc?] or could say how i can debug and try to resolve this
situation.

	Best regards, -- Vladimir.
