This one is prolly me not having read and/or fully understood the
documentation on this..

I was about to search through all my email, using not Gnus, but the
Squirrelmail search thingie. I selected "[All folders]", hit enter, and
then got this error:

,----
| ERROR: Could not complete request. Query: SELECT
| "INBOX.Drafts" Reason Given: System I/O error
`----

Hm. Well, there is no Inbox.Draft. When I 'C-x s' these draft-emails are
saved in ~/news/drafts/drafts and not on the Imap server. I have not
ever touched this in .gnus, so this is just the way it was meant to be,
or?

Oddly, the imap log shows that gnus at start examines this folder..

09:55:06 2746 EXAMINE "INBOX.Drafts"

I bet if I create the folder, search will work, but..

So this is a bug in Squirrelmail, whatever that is?

No, I don't think it is a bug in Squirrelmail. I think Gnus has
communicated to the Imap server that there is a mail folder called
Inbox.Drafts, without actually creating it. This could be related to the gnus
does not create Gcc folder I reported prior to this, and which you fixed
(thanks!). And somehow, the Imap server (cyrus, in my case) stumbles
over this ghost Draft folder. Which shows up in Squirrelmail.

Squirrelmail, by the way, is a GPL'ed webmail application in php.

I don't think that's possible. There's only one command to create a
folder, and that's CREATE, and that, er, creates the folder. :-)
