It is a disaster. :)
If anyone actually likes that new behaviour, please make it
configurable.
The current setup for h is never what I want. The flashing from
bouncing the buffers is extremely -- even painfully -- annoying.
FF (and now SM) do something like that for some dialogs now;
it is no less painful there.
Replacing a whole frame buffer with another whole frame buffer is OK.
Popping a new buffer off and on at the top causes severe eye fatigue.
