Gnus knows how to figure out where the article is supposed to be moved to (as shown by [B t]), but doesn't bother telling the backend. The backend is expected to figure it out for itself, but nnmaildir doesn't. You can still respool the messages the way I said, by moving them to a maildir outside of you nnmaildir directory and adding that to mail-sources. paul
