I'm using Emacs 21.2, which is the latest non-pretest version available from the Emacs web site. Can we do something for the people without a pretest version, such as optionally invoking the nslookup/host/dig programs? It seems like a reasonable compromise in dns.el for those without UDP support. If that's not possible, maybe spam.el is the place to add that kludge? Ted
