Is it really inflooping, or does it just take a long while?  Have you
tried letting it run for a couple of hours?  :-)

It certainly takes very much longer than it should do, ie with 0.69 it
used to take under a few seconds, starting 0.72 and sending a one line
mail it takes over five minutes certainly ... which seems wrong.

Erm no, I work on a sort of live machine and I think he'd object to my
emacs chewing all the CPU, hence why I said 'appears to hang'  {Grin}

I'll try and have a deeper look later on today (ie after 5:00GMT)
