Does anyone know what is the very last initialization hook that Gnus
calls? This would be after the group buffer is completely rendered, and
control is about to be given to the user.

Dunno if it is what you need but my guess is that 'gnus-started-hook'
would match :
"A hook called as the last thing after startup"
